Un grupo de miembros de la comunidad diplomática de Mumbai se reunió en días pasados en “The All Saints Church” para celebrar la llegada de los aires navideños.
En la velada se leyeron pasajes bíblicos relativos a la natividad, se entonaron canciones navideñas y se degustaron viandas características de la época.
Como nota curiosa, la Cónsul de Ucrania, Anna Zaichenko, explicó a los presentes que la conocida pieza “Carol of the Bells” la cual formó parte del repertorio, proviene de ese país.
Fué una excelente ocasión para departir amenamente y celebrar el inicio de una época llena de significado para el mundo cristiano.

Christmas Celebration in Mumbai
A group of members of the diplomatic community in Mumbai gathered recently at The All Saints Church to celebrate the arrival of the Christmas season.
During the evening, biblical passages related to the Nativity were read, Christmas carols were sung, and traditional seasonal dishes were enjoyed.
As an interesting note, the Consul of Ukraine, Anna Zaichenko, explained to those present that the well-known piece “Carol of the Bells”, which was part of the evening’s repertoire, originates from her country.
It was an excellent opportunity to share pleasant moments and celebrate the beginning of a season full of meaning for the Christian world.
